Take me into the painting

Where I’ll play in the watercolour snow

Tucked inside a tranquil winter valley

Where nothing else matters.

I’ll watch the imaginary cold

From inside my cabin in the corner

Of the painting, all alone

Where nothing else exists.

The sun shines off the surface

Of the watercolour lake, blinding in its beauty

A wonderful daydream surrounded by evergreens

Hung on a barren wall.
